How Can I optimize my download speed using BitComet? Please Help?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I assume that BitComet downloads information from several tracker websites, and the addresses of those sites are found in the .torrent file that you open to start a task (downloading a file or directory). Then simultaneously from all those websites you start to download pieces of information that add up together to produce your finished file. Seeds are people who are downloading the same file, and you can simultaneously download pieces of information of the same file from them. Leechers are people who are downloading the same file, and they download pieces of information from you. I really like your answer I’ll put it as best but can you please tell me first with details on how to do everythign that you mentioned? And by uploading, you mean the uploading that I do after I have downloaded something, right? Does BitComet keep some kind of a count of how much I upload data vs how much I download it? So to make me more popular when I am done downloading something I should leave it to upload for a week (not in a row) to “do my part” for the file sharing system? Please give a bit more detail!
