What is the best diet for a Sulcata (African Spurred) Tortoise?

He is 6 years old and although I try to offer him dried grasses from a seed mix for Sultcas I grew, he turns his nose up at anything that is not romaine lettuce. He is very healthy but I want him to remain that way and I don’t think his diet is right. I was disappointment because my vet could not give me very much information.
